This organization was founded after a rise in HIV positive diagnoses in young women of color between the ages of 13 and 24. Working with more than 60 community partners on a $149,000 budget, YWoC provided services, education and support. Our grant allowed the hire of one staffer and the purchase of metro cards for clients so they could attend regular meetings and workshops.
