Street Lab/ Uni Project creates programs for public spaces- pop-up reading rooms, science exhibits, drawing studios and more. When COVID hit, all public programs were suspended. Street Labs used the time to develop safe, socially distanced ways to provide their programs in outdoor spaces. As things cautiously re-opened in the summer, they were present on the closed-off streets in high needs neighborhoods with their 'no touch' obstacle course. Their programs now include outdoor art workshops and a homework hub with staff and volunteers.
