The AAANY was founded after 9/11 to provide social services, immigration, citizenship and employment preparation, access to health services and youth programs. Arab Americans face a specially heavy burden of discrimination and one AAANY program, AplifyYourVoice, offers a forum for discussion as well as strategies to ameliorate this climate. Our grant went to fund a YouthSummit and to purchase computer and video equipment and supplies.
