Practice Makes Perfect

PMP provides summer programming where teachers and high-achieving student mentors work with children to help them retain and build on what they learned during the previous school year. A certified teacher oversees each of three schools, each with about 100 students. Our grant will be used to fund a program to analyze and ultimately enhance PMP’s program capacity.

"WellMet's grant enabled PMP to have our evaluation process in place in order to share our results from the summer and provide PMP with the ability to look through the data to see where our program can improve or where it's thriving. The evaluation results from the summer showed that PMP students made 6 month gains in math proficiency and 2 month gains in reading proficiency."
