IAR assisted children who have a parent in jail. They are counseled on what a visit could be like, as well as learning how to live with that parent once he/she is released. Grant for general operating expenses.
IAR now also offers programs in tutoring and music with an emphasis on college prep and a program on prison visitation. Headquartered at CUNY/Manhattan.
