In 2004, iMentor had a staff of 8, worked with over 800 students and had a budget of just under $1 million. Our grant was to help support a mentoring program.
Today, there’s a staff of 65 and a budget of over $8 million. There are 1,800 mentoring pairs with professional oversight (most mentors are volunteers). iMentor is now a national program and recently received a $500,000 grant from The Gates Foundation.
