Def Dance Jam Workshop

Since 1994, DDJ has offered after-school programs in Harlem to kids with all sorts of disabilities so they can meet in a non-competitive environment.

DDJ currently provides free instruction in tap, African and hiphop dancing, in voice, storytelling, writing and ALS. This is now an intergenerational dance company striving to create a community of equality through community service. As of 2013, DDJ has taught over 130 students dance and sign language among other skills.
