CCfY mobilized local organizations to develop alternatives to incarceration through advocacy , training and technical assistance within the justice system. Direct services to troubled youth are also offered.
Today CCfY now has a budget of over $1 million. It continues to work with South Bronx teens, ages 13-18, providing direct services such as family support groups, mentoring, alternatives to incarceration, and works directly with the Department of Corrections on training programs and with the Department of Probation in matters of policy.
