CityScience’s programs build the capacity of teachers and youth development workers to lead engaging STEM programs for K-8 students. Using New York City’s built and natural environments as resources for exploration, CityScience designs curricula emphasizing hands-on experimentation and learning. CityScience coaches offer onsite training to school and community group educators in the use of the curricula it develops.
WellMet’s $25,000 grant will be used towards development and communications infrastructure.
