This project’s goal was to eliminate teen idleness by providing micro-enterprise jobs for disconnected youth, as well as a safe clubhouse (their headquarters). “Foot soldiers” were responsible for outdoor cleaning, snow and trash removal for participating neighborhoods and they received a stipend for their work. About 100 teens were involved. Our grant was for general operating expenses.
