Established in 1996 to provide services and training to girls, ages 8-23, on the Lower East Side. Our grant was to support two entrepreneurial and business training programs.
LESGC is now offering free after school, summer and weekend programming to over 300 girls annually, while maintaining its Cookie Academy, its We Mean Business 8-week introductory course to small business practices and its La Tienda gift shop.
