Row provided daily competitive rowing instruction to girls, grades 7-12, linked to academic and SAT instruction. Grant to support program expansion.
Row is currently in five middle schools and eleven high schools, employing a staff of twenty. Row teaches the lessons of teamwork, tenacity and commitment. 99% of their girls go to college (90% are on scholarship). Row partners with YMCA, the New York City Parks Department and the Office of the Queens Borough President.
