Sending needed funds to nonprofits that are helping New Yorkers facing the loss of income, food, shelter, health care, and more due to the detrimental impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Fund is addressing both the immediate needs of New Yorkers as well as the new challenges that will emerge in the months to come. Recently, it funded the City Parks Foundation to ensure open spaces are maintained through the busy summer. It also funded City Harvest to provide food to New Yorkers in need.
