Since 1982, LO has prepared youth from underserved NYC areas to compete at high school levels. Our grant was to start a satellite program in Brooklyn.
LO’s students study legal and educational issues that affect their communities. It also partners with law firms, lawyers, judges, government agencies and schools. In l989, it established a 4-year College-Bound program to equip students with tools for success.
