GCF provided job-training to low income youth in sustainable careers which a geared to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. These young people train on the job in small teams for six months to learn all about energy efficiency. GCF continues its programs, now training some 60 youth every 6 months. While in training, students receive stipends, hands-on experience and classroom training.
