CPL trained kids, ages 8-18, to write and to become politically aware of social issues and problems through journalistic programs. Grant for general operating expenses.
CPL, which is now located in New Orleans, L.A. and Washington, D.C., continues to give young people a voice and the skills to use it, so as to insure that they become active participants in society. They work in teams to develop current event stories through research and interviewing. Their stories are published by CPL partners.
