Started in 1999, to even the playing field by providing counseling on workplace expectations, protocols and interviewing techniques. Our grant went to establish an 800-hotline for clients to discuss business problems with professionals, to expand its seminar program and to start a plus-size line of business apparel.
Using the age-old wisdom of women helping women, BC’s over 200 volunteers help clients, one by one, train them in workplace skills and how to dress for success. Since its founding, BC has helped thousands of women find their pathway to steady employment.
